They're opening a Cafe Rio in Lake Forest!!!! It's true! I'm dying...dying for some pork quesadilla that is. CR signed a 10 year lease in the Shops at Lake Forest (corner of El Toro & Rockfield). I mean, Utah got In N Out it only seems fair they throw us a Rio here. And only 10 minutes from my house... oh, life is good.
Anyway, I couldn't find the exact opening date, I think it's early 2010. The sign is up though, if you want to just drive by and drool a bit until then. See ya there!

sneak peek...

I know it's not quite Halloween... but here is a peek at our little monkey, dressed up tonight for Trunk or Treat. Oh my, she was cute. Too shy around others, but when alone she was shrieking monkey noises and gnawing on her pretend 'nana.







The costume was super padded, I didn't notice the tag say chunky monkey, but it should have...




She definitely didn't get the whole trick or treat thing, holding out your bucket, strangers dropping something in, etc. Plus, she doesn't like candy so we only hit up a few cars before I realized it was pointless.


These are Addison's besties...Aly & Noah (aka Minnie and a Power Ranger). She doesn't care where we're going, as long as they're going too! No, seriously.

S~P~O~O~K~Y

Addi picked out the kitty pattern, and colored on a small pumpkin and lost interest while we were still gutting them. I did the Kitty for Addi, and also did the mouse pumpkin. Lyndon likes old school Jack o' Lantern faces, and he did the big one.

And here is where I'm going to put all the sweet furniture I buy.... in this cardboard hut, because yes people.. we are STILL homeless. I'm going insane. Supposedly we are moving in four weeks. I'm not packing yet... or holding my breath.

Caged

Yep, like a wild animal! This one turned into a crib jumper. We spent a few nights going to bed at 10:30-11:00. Then we spent one night in the pack n play, until she figured out a way to get out of it too. Which left me with no other option... besides the tent! I just wasn't ready for the toddler bed, she would NEVER sleep if we went that route. She thinks it's really fun, and treats her bed like a trampoline now. Except when she's angry and I zip her in, then... not so fun.





2nd product I never thought I'd buy my child... first was 'the leash' puppy backpack. They're tricky, these little toddlers.

DISGUSTING. After I captured this on film, she was told this was never to happen again... sick huh?


Anyways, these two first met at my Mom's and she seemed all excited so I came right home and we bought a stool and an Elmo seat, and NOTHING.
She's sat on that seat no less than 100 times, and not one drop has ever passed into the 'potty.' Oh well, wishful thinking. Guess we're still gonna be friends with diapers for a while.
