Dear foreclosed upon homeowners,

May I take a moment of your time (I know, you're busy rebuilding your lives) to ask....WHY? Why must you destroy the home and take everything you can out of it before leaving? I mean, I wasn't there, but YOU signed on the dotted line for the loan you couldn't afford. Anyway, in the end WHERE are you taking this stuff.... you're off to an apartment or maybe your Mom's basement- do you have the cooktop range, the AC units, the shutters and the closet doors/rods with you there??
Anyway, just a little grievance from someone shopping the market right now who's sick of looking at seemingly decent homes only to find they are trashed.
Anyone else hear me on this?!

p.s. a sidenote to the Realtors, could you use current pics instead of ones taken when the house was nice? It's a real waste of time for all of us. Must be what internet dating is like when the picture doesn't match the person you meet...

p.p.s. I guess I can't only complain, the silver lining to this cloud is that I am definitely going to get more house for my $$ now. Thank you housing market crash.

I can totally relate with you on that one. We bought a foreclosure two years ago and gutted it. They took the most random stuff like all the closet shelving systems from the closets and light fixtures. You just have to walk in and see the potential:) Good luck that is exciting to buy a home.
