SKEPTICAL...

but I picked up a copy of Twilight. Vampires.... REALLY?!?! Anyway, we'll see. This was totally a purchase of peer pressure, given all the hype from seemingly cool normal girls everywhere.

Girl, I have a feeling you're going to love it as I do! Please give us an update. I always love to know people's reaction to it.
Happy reading!

Hey Lisa,I was the same way, my mom kept saying I had to read them and I said mom I am not really into vampires, but I also gave into peer pressure and I totally got into them.

Glad to see you might finally have been bitten by the vampire :) I'm sad that I've finished the final book.

my unsolicited advice...stop at book 3 and make peace with that. book 4 doesn't belong in the series as far as i'm concerned :)

welcome to the "in" crowd. I personally love all of them because the love story is engaging and beautiful. I guess they're just good for entertainment value. you'll have to post your thoughts after you finish!!

You can know my thoughts on these books from my blog...I just finished book 4 last night. I've always been proud that I've never read any of those cheesy romance novels you see at the grocery stores (the ones with the woman's clothes ravaged half off)...but after reading the fourth book in the series I'm not sure if I have a clean record anymore!!!! :)Ha!

Oh, And I am totally emailing her right now to volunteer my editing services!

Hey, Lisa. I have to admit I am a Twilight fan. Some friends and I waited in line to buy book four at midnight when it came out. Twilight is definitely my favorite though. Have you finished it yet?

I'm on book 4 right now and have found them to be really engaging. I also had the same question, "What? Vampires?" Didn't really seem my thing...but so many friends and family recommended the book so I tried it and have enjoyed them. Can't wait for the movie coming out in December!

I'm totally bugged that no one-NO ONE wrote anything slightly negative about them. They are in the Young Adults section for one and that should tell ya something. I read the first and second. They are a fast read and you want to keep reading...not because they are so good or you are learning so much but because they are like a freaking soap opera....like 90210! And did anyone watch that finale? You'll be fine to read one or read them all-but sheesh someone needs to tell ya they aren't sent from frickin' heaven.
